Monty von Richthofen (*1995 in München, Germany), also known as Maison Hefner, studied Performance Practice and Design at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts in London. After graduating in 2018, he intensively challenged conventional poetry with visualizing text though painting and writings in public spaces, as well as tattooing. He Currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
In September 2022 Monty von Richthofen, Luisa Schlotterbeck and Maurice Funken will curate the group exhibition ‘Let your ( ) do the talking, eyes knee whatever’ at NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein. The conceptual framework of the exhibition focuses on the use of language and the meaning of linguistics in the visual arts.
